Courses at Harehope Quarry
OASES is working in partnership with Harehope Quarry to deliver a diverse range of outdoor courses. The courses are aimed at anyone working with children or young people; teachers, youth workers, playgroup leaders or parents. The courses will include working with a variety of natural materials such as: willow, sticks, leaves and berries. The workshops provide a brief introduction on how natural materials can be used to enhance the curriculum. At Harehope Quarry there is a range of habitats and environments, which facilitate exciting delivery and fieldwork opportunities including woodland, limestone grassland and wetland habitats (pond, river and wet woodland).
