Learning for a Healthy Future Conferences

Utilizing the Outside to Improve Achievement and Well-Being


Two major one day conferences to explore the wider benefits, to both pupils and staff, of learning and spending more time outside.

Day 1: Thursday 26th March 2020       £199

Venue: Beamish Hall Hotel, Beamish, Stanley, DH9 0YB

The days will incorporate a mixture of keynote speakers, workshops and practical opportunities, all used to explore the latest research and pedagogical approaches. The conference will enable all schools and settings to embed new learning to benefit pupil well-being and achievement.  Confirmed speakers include: Professor Robert Winston (world-renowned expert in fertility and genetics) and Sue Waite (expert in the impact of outdoor learning upon health and well-being).
