Primary Mathematics Sessions

Problem Solving in the School Grounds
From finding shapes and using estimation to working out the height of a tree, your children will be challenged and supported to solve mathematical problems in your school grounds. This fun session will test teams of mixed-ability children to use their analytical and creative brains.

Mathematical Playground Games
A fun session that will demonstrate the power of play when learning and applying maths. In mixed-ability teams, the children will participate in a variety of games that will hone their mathematical skills. They will then be challenged to come up with some of their own!

Maths Trails
Explore the mathematical possibilities of your grounds to create a maths trail for your school. Each team of mixed-ability children will have the opportunity to complete a variety of maths based enquiries which they will then put together to form their own trail for others to try.
