Map Skills and Orienteering (KS2 & KS3)

This active course will help Teachers and Teaching Assistants to gain the confidence and skills to set up orienteering within the school grounds or local woodland.

Teachers will have the chance to try out a range of orienteering activities and gain map reading and compass skills.  These new skills will be used to explore Hamsterley Forest and find out how orienteering can enhance the curriculum. We will discuss health and safety considerations and sources of further support.  Use your PE and Sports Premium to fund this Course.
